Discounts

Offer money off once a shopper spends a certain amount.

The Discounts step of setting up a sale. A discount in Pickerty always works the same way: spend this much, get this much off.

In-person sales only

An online-only sale has no Discounts step. See Online-only sales.

How to add one

Not available on walk-in days

Discounts work on sign-up sheet days and appointment days only. A day set to Walk-Ins has no sign-up list, so there's nobody to give a discount to.

  1. Find the day — and if it's a sign-up sheet day, the group — you want to discount.
  2. Change the dropdown from No Discount to Apply Discount.
  3. Enter how much money off in Discount and how much the customer needs to spend to receive the discount in Min Spend.

To remove a discount, click the trash icon beside it.

GoalTry
Give a paid spot fee backDiscount = the fee you charged. Min spend around 2× the fee.
Raise the average basketSet the min spend just above what people normally spend.
Fill a slow dayReward people for signing up.
Say it out loud

The discount is shown to shoppers when they sign up, but people skim. Repeat it in your sale description just to be safe.
